I just received this today and put it on and felt the magic of a PERFECT color (pine) and a PERFECT fabric (this cascade waffle stuff). I do not ever want to take this shirt off! It's casual, not at all fancy or dressy or anything special, and yet somehow it is SO special. It is boxy, but the simplicity of the cut gives it a timeless feel that takes me back to my clothing of the 80s & 90s, in a good way! I was going to a play tonight and had planned to wear something else, but at the last minute decided I couldn't bear to part with my new friend. I threw on a scarf and was good to go! I think I'll be hanging out with Cascade quite a lot until the weather turns. The specifics: this is not a super thick waffle, more of a substantial t-shirt material than a sweatshirt thickness. Sleeves are plenty long for me, but not too long (I do have long arms though). Crew neck but not at all constricting. I was worried about the length due to some other reviews, but the length is just right for me, not tunic, not waist-length, but hits at the lower hip. It isn't clingy, but I could wear it to yoga class and not worry about my shirt falling open when I'm upside down. All in all, I couldn't be happier, except I want this to come in more colors!!
Another winning item for Wool&! Gorgeous color, feel, drape. Love Wool& clothes!
The sleeves are a bit long on me, but otherwise I love the love and feel. I wear it more as a medium weight sweater.
I bought a small but xs wouldn't fit in the body to try to get a shorter sleeve.
What is great about this shirt- the fabric is divine. It’s soft and luxurious. Totally comfortable. It fit me perfectly in my usual XL and I was glad I didn’t order two sizes to make sure one would fit.
What I did not like- it looks like a pajama top. I realized I wouldn’t wear this except to sleep in or use as a long undershirt, and I didn’t want to pay this much for a shirt that would not be more versatile.
This fabric is so cushy. I bought this shirt and the matching joggers in Pine. This might rival the French Terry as my favorite fabric. I'm 5'5" tall, 145 lbs, and 38-33-40. I bought a large although I might have fit a medium if I wanted it more body fitting. I like my clothing loose.
