Expanding my wool& horizons

Although I chose to exchange for a size up, the process is so streamlined it is amazing. Marionberry is a gorgeous color, and the fit is very flattering and comfortable. I get compliments with each dress. I look at these as investments for home and travel.

Perfect dress for the warmer days

This made for the perfect dress to wear to church for Easter. It was a bit cool so I topped it with the Natalia wrap and it looked great. I wore it with sheet hose for church but later toned it down withe the Swift leggings and ballet shoes to take the dogs to the park. I think it will be a staple in my summer wardrobe. Size tip: I tried the medium (I have a medium Margo) but it was a bit tight, I thought. I exchanged for a large and I thought it was perfect.

Great Little Dress!

I wasn't sure how I'd feel in this dress... I've given birth to (and nursed) five babies, I have wide hips and a large derriere with a small bust but I knew I loved seeing it on others and I wanted to give it a try. I'm so surprised that it's fits well and I love it!

One thing I noticed was that at first (even though I loved it) there was something about it that wasn't doing me any favours and I couldn't place what. I took photos though and the next day I looked at them and realized that my 'issue' was that the elbow length sleeves hit me at my narrowest spot (my waist) and added visual width to that area which wasn't the most flattering on me.

Since my hips are wide (43") and my bust is a lot smaller (35") I wanted to add visual width to my bust to balance out my hips. I folded the sleeves to a shorter length in line with my bust and the effect was so much better and my waist was back to being my narrowest spot. It's so versatile and can be worn many ways which is just awesome! If you have been avoiding it because you're 'pear' shaped, don't! Give it a shot and play with the sleeve length to find the length that is most flattering.

If it helps others, especially other 'pear' shaped people like me, my measurements are 35/29/43 (bust, waist, hips) and the extra small fits perfectly even across my wide hips.
