The fabric is cool and silky. I love the colors. I have 33 inch waist and 41 inch hips. I ordered my usual large (Frankie bike short and the culottes), but these shorts were loose in the waist and very roomy in the hips. I should have ordered a medium. However, the rise felt too short for me. But maybe you're supposed to wear these pulled down on your hips? Anyway, I couldn't see myself wearing shorts this short, even around the house.

I've worn a pair of Grove shorts every day since receiving my first pair. They are so comfy and versitile. They wash well and fit perfectly. A solid staple investment piece for me. No regrets for buying them in all 3-colors!

After wearing these shorts for a couple weeks straight, I'm getting another pair. They are cozy, lightweight, and maybe my favorite wool& product -- and I say that as a customer of three years!

I originally ordered Thyme Heather and Black Heather. As soon as I tried them on, I ordered the Brown Cocoa.

I ordered the same size as I wear in the Summit Bike Short. They fit perfectly. Upon first wear the elastic waist caused some tummy pressure. The waistband material relaxed (not the elastic) and there was no pressure after the first wear.

These are so comfy! I've worn them out, I've worn them to sleep in, I've worn them to lounge in.

I washed and dried them on low, and they washed up beautifully. As a matter of fact, my teenager found them in the laundry pile, and has claimed the green pair.

The Grove shorts are a winner in my house!
