Got this skirt in the navy and black. Material is lightweight but not see through. Very soft, comfortable and it has pockets, my favorite. True to size.

I'm much more into skirts than dresses, so I was pleased when wool& released a midi skirt in the signature fabric. I worried it might bunch as I walked but it flows pretty well, and the waist band is super comfy (I've never tried the fold-over trick--the standard fit is fine with me). I'm an M in wool& bottoms, and the M Helena Travel is great. The washed navy is a very versatile color, though I love this skirt so much I plan to order coral red. I hope it will be available in even more colors!

I really, really, really wanted this to work and I'm still considering getting it altered, but it's too long for a petite (I'm 5'2) and hits below the knee and looks frumpy. But the coral red is beautiful and the fabric is nice (although for a travel skirt I wish it was the slightly heavier weight). It would be very lightweight to pack but a bit fragile for hiking. I ordered the small and medium and either would work. The elastic at the waist is awkward but easily removed.

I love everything about this skirt. Everything. I love that it has pockets. I use the pockets for my hands mostly, maybe a credit card/license/some cash so they are perfectly functional for me. I love the not-too-tight waistband. I love the length, the swishy fabric, the ruching, the fabric weight. This is one to size down in if you are in between sizes. The waistband is VERY stretchy.

I like that the waist band isnt too tight, but I wish it was a bit thicker than the skirt itself. I also wish it was just flat without the cinched seams. The fabric of the skirt is too thin, a little see thru, and shows underwear lines. I wish it did not have pockets. The pockets just add bulk and no one is going to use them on a skirt this thin anyway... Please make it just an inch longer too! A little tight in the hips too.
