I bought the defective black not knowing if I would like these. Wow, I absolutely love them. 😃 I’m bought a large which is what I wear in most wool& items, although my waist runs more XL, these fit perfectly with just the right amount of stretch. I would Love to see these in a navy color or maybe a light khaki too. I will live in these and I’m planning on buying more.
The cut of these are generous, perfect for true to size comfort. They are tech fabric, so they have a slight swoosh when you first wear them. That seemed to get better after I washed them. I did take the elastic out of the legs and sewed the bottom of the original hem to the inside of the top of that hem to prevent puckering from my stitching. I have a 32 inch inseam my hips measure at 43 inches. Photo is of my travel day outfit, also wearing a Wool& tshirt.
these are a more body-shape inclusive pant. They'll look good if you have hourglass proportions. The rise could be a little longer, but I've gotten to the point where I celebrate if a wool& pant looks even halfway decent on me. I love wool&; I have many many many wool& pieces, but I have to size way up in pants to get any sort of length, and at these prices, that's beginning to wear on me.
I hope this company starts hearing the MANY of us who need longer length in legs...
I absolutely love these pants! The style, fit and length are perfect. They look so good on. BUT the material makes a slight swishing noise when you walk. It's not as bad as those old windbreaker pants, but it bothered me enough to return them. I almost kept them for hiking and backpacking but for the cost, it wasn't worth it because I wouldn't get as much use out of them to justify the price.
I love the fabric and fit of these pants so much! But, I took the elastic out and turned them into ankle pants and they are now my favorite pants! I am short but have a nearly 32in inseam so these hit at the ankle bone after I modified them.
