I love this dress! I initially tried my usual size, and it wasn't love at first sight, so I exchanged for a smaller size and I fell in love.

Love everything about this dress!

This is my favorite dress so far! It's comfortable, is a beautiful color, and has pockets. I'd love to see a version that's a bit longer for tall people (this isn't quite a true maxi for me), but the length is fine as it is. I'll be wearing this one a lot! I can see it being easily casual or formal depending on what I wear it with.

I was so excited for this dress that was supposed to be a maxi-length Brooklyn, and on that regard I am disappointed. However, I'm keeping it on the basis of comfort and length. If I were to describe this dress, it's more like if Cora was made into a maxi with a waist instead of a belt (and if it was given Jade's sleeves). It has Cora's neckline and the hem is more similar to that than reversed Brooklyn. The waistband is also more relaxed than with Brooklyn, though that might be a spec issue--I haven't measured, but a lot of folks noticed that their waistbands were wider than the published measurements. Also, I want to warn that if you decide to buy it and modify the back or front neckline so it can be reversed into either option, this dress is not going to be easily reversible as it has a seam in the center of the back skirt.
All that said--while I considered sending back the dress, and my household told me to, I ended up keeping this dress with no regrets as it is unbelievably comfortable. I love maxi dresses, but I have always had the issue where I'm stepping on the dress and have to get it hemmed; this dress is one of the rarities where the length is perfect for my average height and requires no modification. I love Brooklyn, and this is no Brooklyn, but it has functional POCKETS (though they will drag the waist down when in use) and the length makes it comfortable for those days you don't feel like wearing leggings but need a little more coverage. The skirt is also wide enough for me to sit cross-legged while completely covered, and at least for me (my belly is not my skinniest feature) this waist is easy to intentionally place for a bloused effect or to keep lower. It looks great with a belt or layered, and I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of this dress as I basically lived in it for a week when I had family visitors.

I own this marvellous dress in all three colors (ok, ok ...the blue is actually in transit...). The cut is beautiful and lovely on it's own, or the perfect backdrop for a scarf, jacket, kimono, pull-over sweater....you name it. This will look good on any age, and the slightly higher elastic waist is very forgiving. The sleeves are not tight, and they will continue to look good as I keep losing weight.

They can be dressy or casual. With leggings and a sweater for cold weather, or by itself in warm weather. I do not like to show my legs in the summer before I get *some* kind of tan, but the length of this dress allows cool flowy freedom without a tan. Bonus points in my book!
