Paisley FTW

I’m a pear-shape and I find Paisley fitted in the bust and waist and forgiving where I need it, in the hips and legs. I was worried that the neck would gape, but I haven’t had this issue. Pine is lovely, more a gem-tone neutral than I expected. I tried two sizes based on my measurements and went with the smaller of the two. Paisley does skim across my belly and backside, which is fine with me. You might size up if you’re a pear-shape and want a less form-fitting look where this jumpsuit is fitted.

So far worth the investment!

I’ve had it for 12 days and worn it for all of those days as part of the 100 day challenge. It’s very comfortable. It never smells. I wash in cool water every couple days and hang dry over night. It’s always dry come morning, never stiff like some fabrics become when hang drying. It’s cold here, but even though this is a thin fabric my legs haven’t been cold while I’m out and I also haven’t over heated in it indoors even when I was sick with a fever. I’m not a huge fan of the practicality of using the restroom wearing a jumper, but I love not having to think of what to wear every day. I don’t need to correctly pair a shirt and pants because they’re all different fits, lengths or rises. This has fit every occasion so far: home sick, casual daily outings, church, family get togethers, I’ve even climbed logs in a rope course with my kids and done cardio in it. It’s comfortable and it’s got pockets! Worth it.

My first jumpsuit!

100% was not convinced this jumpsuit would work for me, but am SO GLAD that I tried it anyhow.

I'm tall with a relatively long torso. Every other jumpsuit I've tried on has not worked on my body at all. Too short in the body. Too short in the legs (though my legs are relatively short for my height). Waists would highlight my belly pooch. Or they were just plain and uninteresting. Like, why not just wear a shirt and pants in the same color?

But thrilled that the Paisley fits like a glove and is stylish and unique. The crossover front is a so forgiving and brings interest and the eye up to the face. The waist isn't a thick, hard elastic, but gives just enough shape to hug the waist. The arms aren't too short and the elastic wrists aren't tight. All of the elastic is fully covered by the merino fabric, so that's all that touches the skin, which is really fabulous attention to detail that I've come to expect from Wool&.

Love this jumpsuit and have already had tons of fun styling it in different ways.

Too tight

I was really excited to get this jumpsuit. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Normally, the XXL dresses are too large for me and 1X fits just about perfect, but this jumpsuit is a pretty good fit on top (a little snug, but I could make it work) and the bottom was just too tight to be comfortable in XXL. I'm 44-40-51 and both the rear and legs were just too tight. :( I'm hoping it gets made in plus sizes because I'd try again because the shape is generally good for my body. Legs were a bit long so they'd need to be hemmed for my not-quite-5'4 height. Fabric was light, but not too light and would work for multiple seasons (everything but the hottest summer days and coldest winter days).
