I bought my first London on BST because the site was sold out of the XL in plum. I could have easily made this a 30 day challenge dress. My shape is what Woolies have called Pear, but I think A-frame might describe me more correctly. (The measurements just get larger as you go down: 39-42-48.) I am long-waisted & shorter legged. London actually fits me in the chest (rather than looking saggy), and curves at my hips. This "straight shift" works surprisingly well on my shape! And because my legs are no longer slim and youthful (my calves are thick & my knees pooch), the below-the-knee length looks so graceful!
Black just came back in stock, and I purchased two sizes. (I've gained a little weight.) The 1X looks like a sack. I'll keep the XL!
I also just purchased Summit Bike Shorts in 1X, and they smooth out my bum under this London. I am so pleased with these two together!

I own several Wool& dresses but the London Midi is the one that always receives compliments. The cut and fit of this dress make it ideal for a more professional work environment. While I now have all three colors, a true navy would be a beautiful addition to the London Midi collection. In my opinion, this dress would look great in nearly all the basic/classic colors, a rich chocolate brown and camel would also be beautiful. I hope that will be considered before adding in some of the other colors that are common among the other styles.

I absolutely love this dress!! Great color (plum), nice, flattering fit (a little closer to the body) and nice sleeve length (elbow). Not to mention the merino fabric - delightful!! However, the first thing I did after slipping it over my head was to go to put my hands in the pockets!! I knew it didn't have pockets when I ordered it but it was just a reflex! I know that pockets might ruin the line of the dress which is why I didn't return it. But I was really tempted to! This is my 6th wool& dress - I have loved them all - but it just made the absence of pockets even harder!! You guys have spoiled me forever.

I was looking for a dress with short sleeves that was not as casual as a T-Shirt dress and this does not disappoint! It drapes quite nicely and can easily be dressed up or down. I thought I would miss not having pockets but I don’t. I love how I feel in this dress! I just might get me another.
